Between Roles, Between Worlds

BETWEEN ROLER, BETWEEN WORLDS

Artist Statement

He didn’t speak about the role right away.

Not about the musical, not about the expectations, not about what comes next.

What was present instead was a quiet concentration, the kind that appears when something is ending and something else has not yet fully begun.

This series was created at a moment of transition.

A moment between countries, between stages, between identities that are no longer defined by a single role.

The story unfolds in three chapters.

The first is raw and exposed.

A confrontation with external pressure, with expectations, projections and the public image attached to success. The body feels tense, the gaze direct. Nothing is hidden.

The second chapter turns inward.

Here the energy shifts. The gestures soften, the distance grows smaller. It is less about being seen and more about listening, to doubt, to intuition, to what remains when the noise fades.

The final chapter moves away from reflection and back into instinct.

The body takes the lead. Strength, movement and physical presence come forward, not as performance, but as memory. Past roles are felt, not named.

Taken together, the images form a single narrative.

Not a transformation in appearance, but a transition in state.

A portrait of a man between roles and between worlds, standing on the threshold of what is next.
